Axle Engineering fabricates, builds, installs and commissions for construction, industrial and mining clients, from our office and workshop on the Cairo–Alexandria Desert Road in Alexandria. Each service can be contracted on its own, or managed together with the others as one EPCM project.
Steel fabrication
Our workshop fabricates structural steel, plate work and process components for construction sites, plants, mine sites, buildings and bridges. Fabrication follows our quality plan, with inspection and test points and weld inspection signed off against the shop drawings.

Gold-mining equipment

Installation and commissioning
We install mechanical, piping and electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems, then commission plants in three stages: no-load pre-commissioning, dry commissioning and wet commissioning under load.

Engineering and EPCM
As an EPCM contractor we coordinate engineering, procurement and construction from planning to handover. We have completed two 250 TPD gold-mining projects this way, for Um El Tuyor Mining Company and Eastern Desert for Mining, and every project runs on documented management systems, KPIs and standard operating procedures.

Safety and quality
Safety
Every activity starts with a risk assessment. Our HSE procedures cover job safety analysis, safe work method statements, a PPE matrix, permits to work, isolation and lockout, lifting plans, and work at height and in confined spaces. Our lost-time injury frequency rate is 1.6.
Quality
Our quality manual follows the steel-fabrication quality system guidelines of the Egyptian Industrial Control Authority (ICA) and the Egyptian Organization for Standards and Quality (EOS). It covers inspection and test plans, welder qualification, material traceability through mill test reports, and corrective action through non-conformance reports.
